Numenor (Lord of Rings)
168,000 km2 / 64,848 mile2
Númenor, also called Elenna-nórë or Westernesse, is a fictional place in J. R. R. Tolkien's writings. The island of Númenor was in the Great Sea, closer to Aman in the West than to the continent of Middle-earth in the east. In shape it was a five-pointed star, with five peninsulas extending from the central region. The latter is stated to have been around 250 miles (400 km) across, and the promontories were nearly of the same length each.
